Gregory Stephan Baker, 69, of New Albany, OH, passed away on October 31, 2026, at Mt. Carmel Saint Ann’s Hospital in Westerville, OH.
He was born on October 10, 1957, in Marietta, OH, a son of Dolores Jean Bee Baker and the late Oran “Bud” Sherman Baker.
Gregory was a sales representative for various businesses, and last worked for Hagemeyer. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed bow hunting, gardening, bike riding, bird watching, hiking, and Jeeps. He also enjoyed playing poker, listening to country music, visiting estate sales, and was an avid Buckeyes fan who loved exploring northern Michigan.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his children, Nicole M. Barfay (Joe) of Westerville, OH, David M. Dedrickson (Becca) of Pickerington, OH, Monica M. Siedler (Rob) of Chardon, OH and Elizabeth R. Baker of Westerville, OH; mother of his children, Rosemary Baker of Westerville, OH; 5 grandchildren Ava Dedrickson, Luke Barfay, Sarah Barfay, Beckett Dedrickson and Maxwell Makuch; sisters Jeannie Artis (David) of Ellicott City, MD, Terry Holdren (Keith) of Belpre, OH, and Debbie Baker of Little Hocking, OH; and a brother Mike Baker (Betty) of Belpre, OH.
Visitation will be held at the Leavitt Funeral Home Belpre, on Friday, November 6, 2026, from 4-7 PM. Graveside services will be at 11 AM on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at Riverview Cemetery in Williamstown, WV. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.LeavittFuneralHome.com.
