John L. Wilson, 76 of Parkersburg passed away October 28, 2026 at the Camden Clark Medical Center.
He was born in Parkersburg April 9, 1950 the son of the late Russell Kidd and Bertha West Wilson.
He had worked for SW Resources and attended Kites Run Methodist Church. He enjoyed reading, watching television and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his brother, Russell Wilson of Mineral Wells; His sister, Regina Jenkins (Gary) of Montgomery Hill and his nieces and nephews, Lorrie Talbott, David Wilson, Amy Wilson, Travis Jenkins and Gina Jenkins.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister in law, Barbara Wilson.
Funeral services will be Friday at 2:00pm at the Leavitt Funeral Home in Parkersburg. Burial will be in the K of P Cemetery at Elizabeth, WV. Visitation will be Friday from 1:00pm until service time.
