Mary Ellen Canary, 86, of Petroleum, WV, passed away September 17, 2026 at home.
She was born on August 16, 1940, a daughter of the late Ellen Dawson and Leonard Dawson.
She was a homemaker.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband Jon C. Canary and her brother Jack Dawson.
Mary is survived by her daughter Catherine Ballengee (John), her son Robert G. Canary, grandchildren Luke Ballengee (Skylar), Jillian Fouty (Justin), great granddaughters Piper and Isla Ballengee, and her great grandson Weston Fouty.
At Mary’s request, she will be cremated and there will be no services.
