Ronald P. Greer, 85, of Concord, NC died Wednesday August 12, 2026 at Atrium Health Care Cabarrus in Concord. He was born in Glen Ferris, WV a son of the late Jasper and Georgianna (Runion) Greer.
He was a United States Army veteran and retired as Chief Warrant Officer-4 from National Guard Bureau. He then went to become a Receiving & Store’s supervisor at UNC-Charlotte. He enjoyed spending time with his family, talking about cars and late night drives with his wife in their convertible.
He is survived by four sons Ron Greer Jr. of Ravenswood, WV, Bo Greer (Tonya) of Concord, Aaron Greer (Leah) of Concord, and Michael Greer (Pam) of Concord; and a sister Phyllis Gray of Akron, OH.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Deborah (Stone) Greer, and brother Edgar D. Greer.
Graveside service will be held 2:00 PM at Rockland Cemetery. Leavitt Funeral Home, Belpre is assisting the family with arrangements.
