Margaret “Ann” Taylor Biddle
Ann Biddle, 90 of River Road, Little Hocking, Ohio departed this life July 20, 2026 at the Rockland Ridge in Belpre, Ohio. Ann was born in Little Hocking on January 2, 1936, the only child of the late Alvin W. and Opal C. Taylor. She was a lifelong resident of Washington County, Ohio and a 1954 graduate of Belpre High School. She was a 1958 graduate of Miami Valley Hospital School of Nursing and also attended Marshall and Ohio University. She worked as a RN for 40 years.
She was a member of Good Shepherd Episcopal Church, in the last few years she had attended St. Mark’s United Methodist Church in Belpre, Ohio, the Little Hocking Garden Club and a lifetime member of the BHS and MVH Alumnus.
She is survived by a son, David L. (Becky) Matheny of Little Hocking, Ohio, one daughter Elizabeth Matheny of Belpre, four grandchildren, Carly TaiLi, Baili, Matheny, and Kristen (Zac) Hiatt. One step child, Robin Jones. Also surviving are 3 great grandchildren, Isla, Freya, and Thompson.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Robert M. Biddle on September 19, 2000, two step sons, Robert Jr., and John Biddle.
Services will be at the Leavitt Funeral Home, Belpre on Monday at 2:00 PM with Pastor Mike Shaub officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Burial will follow at the Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
