Kathryn Louise (Kathy) Clark McDaniel, 81 passed away July 3, 2026. She was born December 30, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Daisy Watson Clark. She was a graduate of Belpre High School and Mountain State College where she received her LPN degree. She worked at Ohio Valley Healthcare where she found great joy caring for the residents. She faithfully served her community as a volunteer at Old Man Rivers Mission, the Blennerhassett Island Gift Shop, and the Latrobe Street Mission, always willing to lend a helping hand wherever she was needed. She was a devoted member of the Lynn Street Church of Christ, where her faith was a guiding force throughout her life. In her free time, she enjoyed painting, sewing, and reading her Bible. In addition to her friends and family she cherished the love and companionship of her beloved pet, Rudy, who brought her endless comfort and happiness and coincidentally passed away a few hours after Kathy.
Survivors include two sons, Charles William (Billy) McDaniel, Jr. of Torch, OH, Michael Todd McDaniel and wife, Gina of Belpre, OH, grandchildren Joshua (Erika), Malachi, Timothy (Ashley), Jacob, Blake (Alanna), Dakota (Sarah), great grandchildren, Max, Alex, Larissa, Brayden, Kaitlyn, Scarlett, Lennox, Clara and Ruby, Brother in law, Jerold McDaniel and Sister in law, Alberta (Bert) Dalton.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 58 years, Charles William (Charlie) McDaniel, Sr., and four brothers, Ralph Jr., Charles, Jimmy and Ernie Clark.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Amedisys Hospice for their compassionate care and support. They also wish to sincerely thank the many friends who lovingly assisted with Kathy’s care over the last several months.

Services will be at Leavitt Funeral Home in Belpre with Ron Laughery officiating. Burial will follow in the Rockland Cemetery
