With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Drema Marlene Hileman, who went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, March 27, 2026.
Drema lived her life on her own terms, and if you ever asked her, she would simply say, “I lived my life the way I wanted to.” She spent her early years working in many roles, including as a CNA at Hopemont Hospital and in private care, always helping others with compassion. In her later years, she cherished time with her family and loved being outdoors.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Maurice and Roseann Clark; her sisters Annie Martin, Roseann Gadd, and Brenda Williams; her nephew David Gadd; and her niece Rachel King Shahan.
She leaves behind her sister Linda (Eddie) King; her children Donnie (Flora) Hileman, Candy (Matt) Burdette, Drema (Samantha) Wilkins, and Crystal Thompson; her grandchildren Devin and Blake Gentry, Alexis and Austin Hileman, Christopher Burdette, and Ryder and Charley Wilkins; and her great-grandchildren Lathan Gentry, Emmet, and Emery Holter, along with many other loved ones.
We would like to give a special thank you to Kanawha Hospice, especially Lori, Sam, and Brittany, for their kindness and care.
She will be deeply missed and forever loved ❤️
