Donald (Don) W. Forren, 85 of Parkersburg WV, passed away March 27, 2026, at WVU Medicine Camden Clark Medical Center.
Don was the son of John W. Forren and Myrtle C. Forren. He was a long-time employee of Ames in Parkersburg, WV and retired after 30 years of service. He was also a long-time member of the Cedar Grove Community Church.
Don is survived by 5 sons, Donnie Forren and Hal Harkness of Parkersburg, Herbert (Nova) Harkness of Port Charlotte Florida, Robert (Brenda) Harkness of Elizabeth WV, Richard (Renee) Harkness of Ellenboro WV and two daughters, Robin Wine of Belpre Ohio, Lisa Moore along with 13 grandchildren and 20 great-children. Two nephews, Mitchell (Roberta) Taylor and Gregory (Stephanie) Taylor and one sister, Frances (Max) Osborne.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Virginia Forren, and his granddaughter, Kaela Wine, as well as several brothers and sisters.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
