Lucille Stoke
Janet Lucille Stoke, 91, of Williamstown, passed away March 14, 2026 at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born November 23, 1934 in Parkersburg, a daughter of the late David and Mary Alkire West.
Mrs. Stoke was a graduate of Parkersburg High, Class of 1952. She was a long-time member of the Burnt Hill United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women. She was a member of the CEOS. She enjoyed traveling, sewing, quilting and cross-stitching.
Surviving are her children: Larry Stoke of Waverly and Jan Phillips of Williamstown, grandchildren: Torie Stoke whom she raised, Emily Stoke, Jessica Stoke, Larry Stoke, Jr., Aaron Boothby, Ben Stoke, Elizabeth Sayre and Harley Phillips along with great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Lucille was preceded in death by her husband Richard A. Stoke in 1978, and sons: Randall and Mark Stoke.
Funeral services will be Thursday 11AM at the Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg with Wendy Lowe officiating. Interment will follow at Burnt Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday 2-4 and 6-8PM and one hour prior to services.
