David Wayne Ball, 69 of Parkersburg passed away February 17, 2026 at his residence.
He was born in Parkersburg January 13, 1957 the son of the late Johnny and Jo Ann King Ball.
He had worked at one time as a Supervisor at Ravenswood Aluminum, had worked as a Chef in Las Vegas and enjoyed painting and doing body work with his Dad. He liked WV Football and the Dallas Cowboys. loved country music was an avid outdoorsman enjoying hunting, fishing, camping and traveling. In his later years he enjoyed watching the Andy Griffith show and Yellowstone. He was a family man and everything he did was for his family and his favorite restaurant to eat was Texas Roadhouse. He was the type of man who had a big heart and would do anything for anybody.
He is survived by his children, Doug Ball of Parkersburg, Jeremy Ball of New Jersey, Jennifer Vongsavanh (Phet) of North Carolina, Jessica Ball (Jon Wharton) of Little Hocking, OH. Dawson Ball and Dakota Ball both of Parkersburg. His grandchildren, Damien Ball, Trish Ball, Leanna Gordon, Nora Gordon, Sophie Vongsavanh, Kye Vongsavanh, Haleigh Ball, Mercedes Ball, Zavior Ball, Lexus Ball, Kaison Ball, Cienna Ball and Khalani.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Cheryl Dean.
Funeral services will be Monday at 1:00pm at the Leavitt Funeral Home in Parkersburg with Pastor Rob Clegg officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen North Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00 to 5:00pm.
