Bernard Clyde Lemley, 42, of Walker, WV, went home to be with The Lord December 16, 2025, at his residence. He was born June 7, 1983, a son to Bernard C. and Rose A. Lemley (Richards).
Bernard enjoyed hunting, fishing, and talking and laughing on the phone with his momma. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandbabies Aubrey, Kaiden, Ivy, Paisley, Liam, Oliver and Colby. His love for Jesus was like no other. He attended 14th Ave. Gospel Mission Church of Parkersburg.
Along with his grandbabies and parents, he is survived by his wife Cheri Lemley; son Daniel Lemley of Walker; daughter Kimberly Staten (Tyler) of Parkersburg; son Clayton Griffin of Parkersburg; daughter-in-law Brittney Crislip; brother Tracy Lemley (Sandy) of Walker; sister Lisa Morrison (Wayne) of Petroleum; niece Desiree (Mason) of Walker; nephew Jake (Elisa) of Pettyville; niece Cassandra Gill; great-niece Zyla; great-nephews Asher and Levi, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Tracy Richards (Flora), and Grandpap and Granny Lemley; uncle Bub Lemley, and his son Shawn Crislip
Funeral Services for Bernard will be held Friday, December 26, at 14th Ave. Gospel Mission Church in Parkersburg at 1pm. Visitation will be same day from 11am-1pm. As per the family’s wishes, Bernard’s remains will be cremated after the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Leavitt Funeral Home can be made to assist the family with funeral expenses.
