Charlotte M. Stuart, 90, of Washington, WV passed away October 3, 2026 at the Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born on July 21, 1936 in Washington, WV a daughter of the late James Carl and Ima (Lucille) Anthony McKibben. She worked as Head Secretary for the Los Angeles Unified School District, was a member of Fairview United Methodist Church and was an avid quilter and member of the of Helping Hands Quilt Guild in Belleville.
She is survived by two sons, John T. Stuart, III and wife Teresa of Marietta, Jeffrey Alan Stuart; grandson John T. Stuart, IV; brother Carl Wayne McKibben and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Thomas Stuart, II; brother, Steven R. McKibben and sister, Brenda L. Hull.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, October 13th at 11:00 am at the Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg with Pastor Jim Kelly officiating.
Entombment will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be held Monday 5-7 pm at the Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg.
