Barbara R. Foreman
Barbara Rose Foreman, 79, of Vincent, Ohio, died peacefully Monday, April 20, 2026, at Muskingum Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation in Beverly, where she had been a patient for about three years.
She was born Aug. 26, 1946, in Marietta, Ohio, to John and Anna Irene (Clasey) Freeland. She worked as a housekeeper at Marietta College in the late 1980s. She loved dogs and anything related to horses, including racing, riding and rodeos. She was an avid fan of the Cincinnati Reds.
She is survived by her son, Phillip (Billy Joe); daughter, Tracy, all of the home; three brothers, Lester Freeland (Barbara) of Caldwell, Bobby Freeland of Marietta and Keith Freeland (Julia) of Belpre; one aunt, Jean Freeland of Marietta; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lowell; her parents; one sister, Arletta Freeland; two brothers, Ronnie and Russell Freeland; and three infant sisters.
Services will be 1 p.m. Monday, April 27, 2026, at Leavitt Funeral Home Belpre. Burial will be in Barlow Central Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday, April 26, 2026, at the funeral home. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.LeavittFuneralHome.com
