Patricia Janene “Pat” Dallman (née Rodd), born on May 22, 1938, in Mexico, Missouri, passed away peacefully on December 27, 2025, in Parkersburg, West Virginia. She was 87 years old.
Pat dedicated over three decades of her life to a career she truly loved—working as a hairdresser. Her journey began in Samoa, California, where she first picked up her scissors and comb with passion and purpose. She later continued her work in the San Diego and Hemet areas of California, building lasting relationships with clients and colleagues alike. For Pat, hairstyling was more than just a profession—it was a way to connect with others and bring joy into their lives.
After retiring from her long and fulfilling career, Pat relocated to Parkersburg to be closer to family. She made her home at Parkland Place, where she quickly became a beloved member of the community. Even in retirement, Pat’s love for hairstyling endured; she continued to do hair for several residents at Parkland Place, cherishing the opportunity to stay active in the craft that had brought her so much happiness.
Pat’s life was deeply rooted in family. She is lovingly remembered by her daughters Tracie Dallman and CJ Castillo; her grandchildren Christopher Dallman, Tabitha Fluharty, Kimberly Nguyen, Jason Trusty, and Franklin Rector III; and her great-grandchildren Mina, Tori, Jaydon, Braden, Olivia, Isabel, Isaac, Ryker, Lane, Killian, Madison, and Brantley. She also leaves behind her sister Rita Guile and brother Larry Rodenbaugh.
She was preceded in death by her parents Leo A. Rodd and Lorna Walters; her sons Michael Dallman and Cameron Dallman; and her granddaughter Jodi Rector.
Throughout her life, Pat touched many hearts with her warmth and dedication—whether through a perfectly styled haircut or a kind word shared over coffee. Her memory will live on in the lives of those who knew and loved her.
May Patricia Janene “Pat” Dallman’s memory bring comfort to all who were fortunate enough to share in her journey.
