Mary Ellen Cole, 96, of Parkersburg passed away December 26, 2025 at her residence. She was born on February 26, 1929 in Charleston, WV a daughter of the late Anderson and Estel Trout Boggs. She was a military wife of 28 years and attended the Belpre Senior Citizen weekly on Tuesdays and Thursdays for games and fellowship.
She is survived by one son, Steven L. (Lonna) Cole of Williamsburg, VA; one daughter Deborah A. Currie of Parkersburg; four grandchildren; five great grandchildren; one great great grandson and one great great granddaughter on the way.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dorsey Eugene Cole and one brother, Arthur L. Boggs.
Funeral services will be Saturday, January 3rd, 2026 at 2:00 pm at the Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg with Reverend Frank Miller officiating.
Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at the Saturday 1-2 pm at the funeral home.
