Earl Virgil Hart, 77, of Williamstown passed away December 17, 2025 in Parkersburg, WV. He was born on July 7, 1948 in Parkersburg, WV a son of the late Earl and Mable Uppole Hart.
Earl was a dedicated working man with a strong work ethic. He was currently working for Emerson Bowling Lanes for the last 25 years and previously with Stork Bakery. He was a US Army veteran and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is survived by two daughters, Shirley (Tom) Grogg of Belpre, Sherrie (Roy) Shingleton of Parkersburg; step-children, Kimberly (Doug) Pickering of Waverly, Ronald (Melissa) Ward of Burgaw, NC; five grandchildren, Andrew (Tess) Grogg, Rachel (Alex) Perry, Latasha (Matthew) Browne, Brittney (Tyler) McIntire, Cody Shingleton; seven step-grandchildren; eight great grandkids; two step-great grandkids; two brothers, Terry (Ann) Hart of Barlow and Rick Hart of Parkersburg.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Beverly Kent Hart; second wife, Carol Hart and one brother, Jim Hart.
Funeral services will be Tuesday 11:00 am at the Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg, with Major Angela Repass officiating.
Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be held Monday 5-8 pm at the funeral home.
