Mae R. Blough, 78, passed away December 14, 2025 at the Arbors of Marietta. She was born on August 12, 1947 in Parkersburg, WV a daughter of the late Glenn and Irene Hoffman Lockhart.
She was a 1965 graduate of Parkersburg High School which was the largest graduating class in WV State history. She worked as a nurse for both the private sector and Camden Clark Hospital. She was a member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, enjoyed cardinals and was an avid Green Bay Packers fan.
Mae is survived by her daughter, Christy Inman; daughter-in-law, Michele Newbanks; step-daughter, Wendy Higgins; two grandchildren, Hope Lynn Inman, Michael Glenn Inman and sister-in-law Judy Harris.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Noel Blough; son James Newbanks; sister, Ginger Bowman and niece, Gina Sellers.
A gathering of friends and family will be held Friday, January 2, 2026 from 6-8m pm at the Leavitt Reception Center, 620 Avery Street, Parkersburg, WV.
