Debora L. Foley,74, of Parkersburg, passed away on November 28, 2025, at the Camden Clark Medical Center, WVU in Parkersburg, WV. She was born on December 22, 1950, in South Charleston, WV, a daughter of Mark A. and Gladys Walker Matheney.
Debora was a 1968 graduate of Parkersburg High School and a 1971 graduate of the Radiology Technician Program at CCMH. Debora worked as a Radiology Technician and retired after 30 years of service with various doctors and healthcare organizations in the area.
She was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church and grew up attending Christ United Methodist Church with her family.
She had many interests and hobbies, including cross-stitching, bird watching, playing handbells at church, playing the piano, and spending time with her family. Her love and compassion touched many lives as she opened her home to everyone, and many considered her “mom”. She was a dedicated mom, grandmother, sister-in-law, cousin, aunt, and friend.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Joe Foley; two daughters, Beth (Jeremy) Dennison of Parkersburg, and Kathrine (Andrew) Welyczko of CO; and three grandchildren, Carder Dennison, Cole Dennison, and Molly Welyczko, as well as many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 13th, at 12:00 pm at First Presbyterian Church, with Annie McMillian officiating.
A gathering of friends and family (visitation) will be held on Saturday, December 13th, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, followed by a Celebration of Life service officiated by Annie McMillian.
A luncheon will be held in the fellowship hall following the service.
