Douglas Scott Poe, 69, of Parkersburg passed away December 4, 2025, following a vehicle accident. He was born August 5, 1956, a son to the late Howard and Edith Miller Poe.
Doug enjoyed sports, especially golf and fishing. In his youth, he played sports at Don Godbey fields, Edison, and Parkersburg South. Doug was also an employee of DuPont and Chemours.
Surviving Doug is his daughter, Alison Poe; grandson, Sutphin Poe; brother, Dave Poe of Marietta; sister, Jenny Meyer (Tom) of Charlotte, NC, and nephews Matt Meyer and family, and Corey Meyer and family.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his infant daughter, Erin Marie.
A memorial gathering will take place Wednesday December 10, at Leavitt Reception Center on Avery Street from 1-3pm.
