Jon Anthony Cox, 40 of Parkersburg passed away November 24, 2025.
He was born in Parkersburg January 8, 1985 the son of Daniel Cox and Evonne Richard Alvarez (Lorenzo).
He had been employed by Magic Air Heating and Cooling. He enjoyed fishing, was an avid collector and a huge West Virginia Mountaineer Fan. Jon had a good heart and was selfless always putting others first and would give anyone that needed it the shirt off his back. He loved his family and always enjoyed spending time with them.
In addition to his parents and step father he is survived by his wife, Cassandra Lee Seawell Cox. His children, Addison Cox, Hannah Cox and Austyn Ervin. His brothers and sisters, James Cox, Jessica Winans, Heather Steele, Marcos Alvarez and Carmen Willis.
Funeral services will be Monday at 11:00am at the Leavitt Funeral Home in Parkersburg with Pastor Lonnie Coats officiating. Visitation will be Sunday from 6:00-8:00pm.
