Jeremiah Ariaz is a 2026 Guggenheim Fellow whose photography explores the decline of small-town U.S. newsrooms, and celebrates the rural reporters who are fighting long odds to keep local media coverage alive in their communities.  Born and raised in small Kansas towns, Ariaz has focused his photographic efforts on his home state.
