Curtis Randall Mick, 46, of Mineral Wells passed away after a battle with cancer on August 1, 2026 at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, OH. He was born on December 26, 1979 in Marietta, OH a son of Darrell “Rusty” Mick and Betty Mae (Hartleben) Mick.
Curtis was the lead tanker truck driver for Contractor Transport for the past 2 1/2 years. Curtis will be remembered for his sense of humor, infectious laugh, and the way he never met a stranger. He loved spending time with his family, going to concerts, and making the most of every moment. His warmth, sense of humor, and genuine spirit were evident in the countless lifelong friendships he made. He touched many lives and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his wife Wendy (Nelson) Mick, his children Camryn Randall Mick and Marlee Jo Mick, his mother Betty Mick, his brother Brian Mick (Shawna) and their kids Andrew and Aaron. He is also survived by four brothers-in-laws, two sisters-in-laws, his mother-in-law, and six nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father Darrell “Rusty” Mick, his brother Jason Mick, and his two sets of grandparents, Julia and Bob Hartleben, as well as Jewel and Delmer Mick.
Visitation will be held Friday, August 7, 2026, 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm at the Leavitt Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be Friday, August 7, 2026, 2:00 pm at Leavitt Funeral Home, with Pastor Adam Myers, officiating.
