Mellissia Sophia Cale, 57, of Reno, OH passed away January 15, 2026 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV. She was born on February 25, 1968 in Parkersburg, WV a daughter of the late Okey P. and Mary Nulter Cale.
She loved angles, music, dancing, singing, coloring and crafts. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her nieces, nephews and family, especially her great great nieces and nephews and was known to be the teacher to them all of all things “good and bad”.
She is survived by seven siblings, Dora (Gary) Galloway of Walker, Judith Pauley of NC, Janet Ferrell of Mineral Wells, Thomas (Angie) Cale of Walker, James Cale of Davisville, William (Maribel) of Parkersburg, Gregory (Lori) Cale of Walker; nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three siblings, Sue Nelson, Dana Cale, Russell Cale; one nephew, Zachary Cale; great great nephew Brycen Green; brothers-in-law, Randy Nelson, Leo Pauley and Robert Ferrell.
Funeral services will be Wednesday 1:00 pm at the Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg with Rev. Kent Lowther officiating.
Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be held Tuesday 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
