Patricia Anne Brunicardi, 68, of Parkersburg, passed away on October 4, 2026, at her residence, surrounded by her family and loved ones. She was born on October 22, 1957, in Jersey City, New Jersey, a daughter of the late Ralph and Anna (Foran) Scocco.
Patricia was a passionate woman with a heart of gold who always had something kind to say about the people in her life. She gave generously and went above and beyond for those she loved. She valued her family above all else and had a way of making everyone feel like part of it, whether they were related by blood or not.
She loved watching movies and reality television with her children. Some of her favorites included Survivor, The Amazing Race, and Dancing with the Stars, and she especially enjoyed the Hallmark Channel.
Known to many as “Patty” or “Ms. Jersey,” Patricia was proud of her New Jersey roots and Italian heritage. Her unmistakable accent made her easy to pick out in a crowd.
She is survived by her children, Timothy Brunicardi (Brittany), Christopher Jefferson (Chaz Dye), Krystle Waskiewicz, and Justin Brunicardi; her sister, Joanne Jumper; and her brother, John Scocco.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Anthony Jamroz of New Jersey; her daughter, Angelica Brunicardi; her first husband, Kevin Jefferson; and her second husband, Mark Brunicardi.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 23, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. at Leavitt Funeral Home of Parkersburg. Visitation will be held that same day from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m.
