Mike Eschbacher, 81, of Parkersburg, WV died Thursday October 15, 2026 at Camden Clark Medical Center, WVU. He was born in Parkersburg, WV as son of the late Frank and Mary (McVey) Eschbacher.
He retired from National Oil Well Supply. He attended Murphytown Baptist and then Hope Freewill Baptist Churches. He was a United States Army veteran. Mike enjoyed spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife of sixty-one years Barbara (Marshall) Eschbacher; two daughters Michelle Barker (Kevin) and Stacie Moore (Mark) all of Parkersburg; ten grandchildren Brady Moore (Haven), Kyle Barker (Shay), Sydney Allman (Stone), Justin Moore (Katie), Kameryn Barker, Haley Moore, Hannah Moore, Landen Barker, Hunter Barker, and Savanna Barker; five great grandchildren Harleigh, Cohen, Willow, Julian, and Iyla; and many special nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Bob Eschbacher and sister Jean Murphy.
Per Mike’s request, there will be no visitation or services. Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg is assisting the family with cremation arrangements.
