Gary D. Morehead

Gary D. Morehead, 77, of Parkersburg, WV passed away peacefully on September 9,2026 at WVU Medical Center.
Gary was a proud Vietnam Veteran with the U.S. Army, and a long-time member of the American Legion /Color Guard post 15 of Parkersburg, WV.
After many years as a heavy equipment operator in Clarksburg, WV he was employed and retired from Corning Glass /Schott Scientific Glass of Parkersburg, WV.
Gary was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching all sporting events including NASCAR. He loved spending time with family and friends and will be missed by so many.
Per his wishes, Gary will be laid to rest in the West Virginia National Cemetery at Grafton, WV with full military honors at the convenience of the family on a later date.
