Liu-Yeh Cunningham, 79, of Parkersburg passed away Wednesday August 5, 2026 at the Camden Clark Medical Center, WVU. She was born in Taipei City, Taiwan a daughter of the late Mu Sui and I Fung (Long) Lin.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed knitting, sewing, and playing bingo. In Taiwan she had served as a Translator in the military hospitals. She enjoyed her time spent with her monthly prayer group.
She is survived by her sons Michael Sulsberger, Jr. (Angie) of Parkersburg and Ming Shun of Taiwan; daughter Lydia Wang of Cleveland; and grandchildren Quenton Michael Sulsberger, Ashton Kai Sulsberger, Derick Thompson, Jaxson Sulsberger, Alex Chen, and Adam Chen. She had a special place in her heart for the Northpark boys who she considered her bonus kids.
The family will hold a celebration of her life at a later date. Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg is assisting the family with cremation arrangements.
