Joseph Luse
Joseph Edward Luse, 65, of Mineral Wells, formerly of Seaside, OR, passed away July 16, 2026 at the Belmont Care Center after an extended illness. He was born April 16, 1961 in Portland, OR, a son of the late Kenneth and Rose Mary Spring Howard.
Joe formerly worked in retail, hotel management and various jobs on the West coast. He enjoyed clam digging, fishing, karaoke, his pets and being with family. He was Catholic by faith and had attended Saint Rose Catholic church. He is missed dearly and will be forever loved by all that knew him.
Surviving is his wife Leisa Duncan Luse, three sons: Joey Walkinshaw of New York and Mike Luse (Amy) and Wayne Diehl (Ann) of Washington, daughter Sarah Allday (Allen) of Texas, 10 grandchildren, stepson Jacob Kyer of Mineral Wells, stepdaughter Sheena Kyer of Parkersburg, three step grandchildren and his best friend, Barry Schwindt of Oregon.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandmother, Wauneta Spring who raised Joe.
In following Mr. Luse’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral. He will be cremated and his remains scattered along the shore of the Pacific Ocean in Oregon.
Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg is assisting the Luse family with arrangements.
