Judith Ann Chichester, 87, of Williamstown, WV died Thursday June 18, 2026 at Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born in Parkersburg, WV a daughter of the late Reverend John D. Cumberledge and Allie Zetta (Gault) Cumberledge.
She was a group manager for the Department of Treasury and had also worked at Storks Bakery and Mullen Motors. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, needlework, and painting; but especially raising her family.
She is survived by four children Robert D. Chichester of Walker, WV, David D. Chichester (Traci) of Lowell, OH, Dianna B. Bobier (Jeff) of Denver, NC, and Steven D. Chichester (Katherine) of Lowell, OH; five grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Robert A. “Bob” Chichester; two brothers Glenville N. and Keith Cumberledge; and two sisters Virginia O. Carpenter and Rita F. Stephan.
Per her request there will be no visitation or services. Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg is assisting the family with cremation arrangements.
