Burnie Edman, 88, of Waverly passed away June 16, 2026 at the Belmont Healthcare Center in Belmont, West Virginia. He was born on May 16, 1938 in Parkersburg , WV a son of the late Burnie and Frances Gants Edman .
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Helen Edman, and his son Burnie F. Edman, Jr. along with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Burnie is also survived by his brothers Richard Edman and Harold Edman, and sister, Carolyn Divienced.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sons: Michael, Robert, and Clinton Edman, along with several brothers and one sister.
