Sylvia Argro Bakas Fetch, 87, of Parkersburg, passed away May 5, 2026, at Camden Clark Medical Center. She was born November 17, 1938, a daughter to the late Stephen and Eda Bakas (Wamsley)
Sylvia valued her faith in God, family, and friends. Her laughter was contagious and she always tried to make others smile. She was a spitfire and never let anything hold her back.
Surviving Sylvia are her daughters Michele Webster (Mitch), Angela Fetch (John Sturm), and Christina Turner (Doug); grandchildren Jon Webster (Danielle), Alisha Porter (Graham), and Preston Turner; great-grandchildren Carson, Jackson, Abby, and Grant; siblings Nicholas Bakas (Vivian), Catherine Trefz (Ted); special friend Janet Lockard, and nephews Sean Harrison, Joshua Harrison, and Nick Bakas.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her special friend Ron Rittenhouse.
A private graveside service for Sylvia will be held at The Masonic Cemetery in Weston, WV for the family.
