Roger W. Longwell, Jr., 51, of Vienna, WV, entered into eternal rest peacefully at home on Tuesday, April 21, 2026. He was born in Columbus, Mississippi, a son of Donna (Chester) Coe of Parkersburg, WV and Roger (Jacquelin) Longwell of Goldsboro, NC.
In addition to his parents and step parents, he is survived by his devoted and loving wife of 28 years Jennifer Longwell; two daughters Tesa Longwell (Daniel Law) of Belpre and Tankeekah Longwell (Reece Nemesek) of Vienna; sister Shelly Primm (Lewis) of Cairo; half-siblings Joshua Longwell (Kinsey) and Ashley Rogers (Ken); and nieces and nephews Kelsi Snyder (Jon), Savanna Camp (Dakota Hawkins), Kodi Camp, and Jayden Primm.
He worked at Marietta Memorial Hospital, was a member of Vienna Baptist Church and Men’s Support Group, and enjoyed working out and spending time around backyard fires with cherished family and friends.
Services will be held Friday 5:00 PM at Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg with Reverend A. Dwight Brohard officiating. Visitation will be Friday 2-5 PM.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in honor of Roger to the Humane Society of Parkersburg.
