Donald Eugene Davy, 76, of Davisville passed away April 17, 2026 at his residnece. He was born on September 23, 1949 in LaCrosse, Wisconsin, a son of the late LeRoy Davy and Helen (Solberg) Hanson.
Donald was one of 11 children, and was raised in Hokah, Minnesota. He joined the Army in 1967 and actively served in Vietnam. Donald then moved to Parkersburg, West Virginia in 1974 where he started his own construction business and successfully provided a living for his family until his retirement in 2012 due to health issues. In his last years, he was cared for by his ex-wife, Cheri Parker.
He is survived by 4 sons, David Jenkins of Parkersburg, Donald Jason “Jay” Davy (Jill) of Davisville, Travis LeRoy Davy of Parkersburg, Bradly Robert Davy of Parkersburg, and 4 grandchildren including Morgan, Matthew, Colten Paul, and Savannah.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his granddaughter Sophia Rose Davy.
Per Donald’s wishes, there will be no service at this time. The family will hold a celebration of life at a later date.
