Barry Lane Jones, 53, of Parkersburg passed away April 14, 2026 at Marietta Memorial Hospital in Marietta, OH. He was born on November 26, 1972 in Parkersburg, WV, a son of the late Barry Lane Jones Sr. and Marion (Butcher) Sweeney.
Barry was a talented tattoo artist and piercer. He loved cooking, and even went to culinary school. He enjoyed participating in backyard wrestling for some time. He was also a big fan of Star Wars. More than anything, he loved being a dad, and he loved his whole family.
He is survived by his lifelong friend Hyedi Wilson, his son Braxten Jones, step-daughter Adriana Gibson, and many members of the Nichols family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-father who was a father figure for him most of his life, Byron Sweeney.
Barry will be cremated, and there will be no services at this time.
