Beatrice “B.B.” Bell Lance, 55, of Parkersburg passed away April 2, 2026 at the Camden Clark Medical Center in Parkersburg, WV. She was born on September 13, 1970 in Wheeling, WV a daughter of the late David Franklin Lance and Kathleen Doris (Hinzman) Lance.
B.B. loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and was a member of the St. Paul United Methodist Church in Parkersburg. She loved thrift shopping, and was an excellent couponer. She loved her cats, drawing, listening to music, and spending time with her family and friends. B.B. also loved to travel. Her and her fiancé Larry made it to the local festivals like the Parkersburg Homecoming and the Sternwheel Festival every year, and she loved visiting the Amish country.
She is survived by her fiance Larry Vannoy, brother David Allen Lance, brother Edwin Russel Becker III, sister Renee Young, sister Erin Elizabeth Gibson, sister-in-law Sandy Shaffer, uncle George Hinzman, as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Thomas Edward Lance and her brother Joseph Thomas Forshey.
Beatrice will be cremated, and the family will hold a memorial service at a later date.
