Yvonne “Patricia” Brown, 84, of Parkersburg passed away February 6, 2026 at Waterview Pointe nursing home in Marietta, OH. She was born on January 29, 1942 in South Charleston, WV, a daughter of the late Oran R. Jordan and Irene E. (Cook) Jordan.
Yvonne loved the warm weather, and enjoyed singing and playing piano for her church. Her faith was very deep and she lived for her savior Jesus Christ. She loved children, and spent much of her time with her grandchildren playing games and teaching them how to cook.
She is survived by her son Paul Wayne Brown II and his wife Benita K. Brown, her daughter Paula Jayne (Brown) Callahan and her husband Hubert T. Callahan, grandchildren Paul “Trey” W. Brown III, Kayla Mae Brown, Trasia (Brown) Wiley, Cassandra “Cassie” Brown, Jonathan “Jon” L. Brown, Dakota “Smiles” James Tymms, and six great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Paul W. Brown, and her son Gregory Allen Brown.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, February 10th, at 2:00 PM at Leavitt Funeral Home of Parkersburg.
Visitation will be held Monday, February 9th from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Leavitt Funeral Home of Parkersburg.
A graveside service will be held at a later date.
