Amanda Jane Gandee, 60, of Parkersburg passed away January 17, 2026 Camden Clark Medical Center. She was born December 2, 1965, a daughter to Barbara Ann Rector (Grybowitz) and the late Franklin Winston Rector.
Amanda loved being outdoors whenever she could. Her love for God and her family was the most important aspect of her life.
Along with her mother, Amanda is survived by her husband of 43 years, Rick Gandee; children Linzy Gandee and Richard A. Gandee II; sister Barbie Ketterman; brother Frank Rector II, and several nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.
Amanda is preceded in death by her father, Franklin.
A public viewing for Amanda will be held Thursday, January 22, at Leavitt Funeral Home in Parkersburg from 12-2pm. Private family burial will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Mineral Wells.
