Monroe, raised their family on a farm in Looneyville where Mae learned hard work and

kindness at their hands.

them. Mae retired a total of 3 times in her life, the final time being at the age of 94 from Belk at

the Grand Central Mall.

family

Mae was an amazing woman and one of the last true Great Ladies of our time. She held strong

to her faith in God and taught her family about love, dignity, and strength; three qualities that

she embodied fully for the entirety of her time on this earth. Mae loved her family dearlv and

we loved her right back.
